This is a great tool for taking shots in which you are also in the picture. Also nice when a super steady picture needs to be made. Just mount it on a tri-pod, frame the picture and step back. No need to worry about any vibration caused by pressing the shutter button. A necessesity for anyone doing macro or high telephoto photography. Price was right as well.
